"Girls are not strong. We aren't meant to be strong, in the first place.
We hurt, we struggle, we cry, we break down.
but after all that, we get back up.
i think that's the beauty of strength. found very much in every girl, every woman.
they may shove us in the mud, slap us across the cheek, laugh at our new outfits, yell rude remarks at us, neglect us, stab us right through our hearts.
but we wouldn't give up. Why?
Resilience. Girls are born with a quiet characteristic of resilience.
Is it necessarily 'bouncing back', like in Top Girls? Kinda. But it ain't just some strong front, it's real. it's in each and every one of us.
You are special. You are unique. Remind yourself that.
Don't let them get you down, girl. They may try, but don't let them succeed.
Be proud to be vulnerable. Because that is when you can then be resilient."
I know this post does not relate to class matter in any way. Okay, maybe it's just me, but I find many of you being moody. Heh, what happened? Is it because of the amount of stress after receiving your results one by one? Or did an unfortunate event happened in your life? Whatever it is, "BOUNCE BACK" up again.
